Leigh-Anne Kehler


Leigh-Anne Kehler has travelled the world as a touring professional storyteller, actor, playwright and arts in education leader. Her tours have taken her to Thailand, Denmark, Japan and across Canada. Most recently she was selected by the Organization of Saskatchewan's Arts Council's as a performer for their Junior Concerts series in schools. (2019). She was also one of three storytellers selected by TD's Canadian Children's Book Week. (Juried selection 2019). She toured through the beautiful landscapes of Northern Ontario. Many festivals have invited her to their stages including the Toronto International Storytelling Festival, Yukon International Storytelling Festival, Copenhagen Spoken Word and Storytelling exchange, and the Regina and Winnipeg Children's Festivals. She has penned twenty-three plays, four of which were given professional staging at Prairie Theatre Exchange, Theatre Projects in Manitoba and Northern Lights Theatre in Edmonton. Two solo theatre presentations, Fire Women and The Final Hour were invited to be performed at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. (2017)
